A Fusion of Culture and Food at Zabadani Cafe
Friday, October 05, 2012
Davao city is a huge city in the Southern part of Philippines that's mixed with different cultures.
Everytime I hear the word 'culture', one thing that comes into my mind is food and their flavors.
Zabadani Cafe offers a wide variety of mid-eastern and Filipino flavors. They also serve authentic Arabic coffee and most certainly known for the 'layered coffee' . They also have options on their menu like whether you want it solo or for two. They have already 2 branches in Davao city and both of them have wi-fi access.
This is actually not my first time at Zabadani Cafe, I had already tried some the of their dishes and I'm really enjoying it, so I invited some of my friends to have lunch there.
The interior is so mid-eastern vibe |
We took the chance to try the flavors of the mid-eastern cuisine.
We tried some the Cafe's best dishes...
Lemony Chicken |
Syrian Grilled Breast |
Beef Roast (in Pomegranate Sauce) |
Bubble milk tea |
The Famous Mochaccino layered coffee (photo taken by Instagram) |
Some of the cafe's must-try dishes and my favorites:
- Zabadani Turn-over
- Zabadani Pita Cheese Sticks
- Belgian Chocolate
- Frullato
- Layered Soda
...and so much more!
Visit Zabadani Cafe located at C. Bangoy street, (formerly Ponciano Reyes street), Davao city,
...and their newest branch at The Peak, Gaisano Mall (near Kublai Khan), J.P. Laurel Ave., Bajada, Davao city.
